1. Controller

2. Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Germany). When you visit, the host processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, page requested, data volume, and browser and operating system in order to deliver the site securely and reliably. It is kept only as long as needed.

3. No cookies, no tracking

The site itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Your choice between the light and dark theme is stored only in your browser.

4. Embedded YouTube video

A YouTube video is embedded on the home page. We use the domain youtube-nocookie.com (enhanced privacy mode). When the home page loads, your browser connects to YouTube (Google) servers, which transmits at least your IP address. Whether YouTube processes more data is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Launcher download

The “Download” button leads to https://nation42.de/download/. From that click on, the privacy policy of nation42.de and its host apply; this site transmits no data for it.

6. Discord login in the launcher

The launcher signs you in with Discord OAuth 2.0 using PKCE and requests only the “identify” scope, so no email address. The token and display name are encrypted with Windows DPAPI in a local folder and deleted when you log out. Your Discord ID is used only as a key for rate limiting and is not stored long term. Discord is an independent controller.

7. Game downloads

The game itself is distributed through itch.io. On the download page, “Download without the launcher” leads directly to the game’s download page on itch.io (https://dosskias.itch.io/ages-of-crafting/download/…), the “itch.io” link in the footer to the project page. From that click on, itch.io processes your IP address and its privacy policy applies; this site transmits no data for it.

8. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object, under Art. 15–21 GDPR, informally by email to dosskias@nation42.de. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

9. Changes

This policy is updated when the site or the launcher changes.
